Opening Hours

We are open every weekend and on Wednesdays and Bank Holidays
(except over the Christmas and New Year period).

We are open from 10am until:

4pm - November to February

5pm - March to October

We recommend that you should allow one to two hours for your visit.

Trans Lancs Rally

On the day of our annual Trans Lancs Rally (the first Sunday in September), the Museum will be open from 8am for rally entrants to arrive and will close at approximately 12 noon when the last vehicle has departed on the rally. A large selection of motor vehicles and other attractions will then be on display at Heaton Park from around 12 noon until 4.30pm, so why not join us there?
