Admission Charges

 

 

The Museum of Transport does not receive grant funding like the free national museums and is operated by the volunteers of the Greater Manchester Transport Society. In order to sustain the Museum project, the Society must raise funds, and admission is an important funding source.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Holders of a valid Wayfarer ticket are admitted to the Museum free of charge.

- Employees of GMPTE, Metrolink and Greater Manchester bus operators are admitted
- to the Museum free of charge.

- Different charges may apply during special events.

 

 

 

We accept payment by cash, cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card) and major credit and debit cards.
