100 Years of Public Transport in Greater Manchester
Guided tour lasting around 1 hour:
Take a trip back in time with one of Britainís biggest collections of restored buses, coaches and trams.
Follow the progression of travel in Greater Manchester from a Victorian horse drawn bus to the prototype Metrolink tram.
See and sit in these fascinating vehicles that took Greater Manchester folk to work, shops and outings to the coast and countryside.
Free - once you have paid your admission to the Museum.
Tours will take place on the second Sunday of each month (and selected Wednesdays), starting at 2.30pm next to the horsebus at the front of the Upper Hall.
