St George visits the Museum of Transport!22 April 2009
The Museum of Transport was visited recently by St George to help raise awareness of the forthcoming St George's Day on 23 April 2009.
In addition, the Museum was pleased to support the celebration by providing an open top bus to take part in the St George's Day Parade on Sunday 19th April in Manchester City Centre.

The Museum of Transport is in Boyle Street, Cheetham, Manchester and is open to the public every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday. An admission charge applies, but accompanied children under 16 visit free. The Museum is a partnership between the volunteers and the Greater Manchester Transport Society and GMPTE, the public body which supports and co-ordinates public transport in Greater Manchester.
