Make a Donation

The Greater Manchester Transport Society, which operates the Museum of Transport on behalf of GMPTE, is a Registered Charity (509772). We are not supported by Central Government and rely on fundraising events and donations for the majority of our income.

If you would like to help with the continued preservation of Greater Manchester's rich transport heritage and the future development of the Museum of Transport, you can make a donation to the Greater Manchester Transport Society, using the methods below.

Telephone Donation (general donations)

If you would like to make a general donation by telephone, please ring 0161 205 2122 during Museum opening hours and ask to make a telephone donation. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Postal Donation (appeal donations)

If would like to make a donation in respect of an appeal, or prefer to donate by post, please send a cheque or postal order together with a covering letter to the address below.
