Visitor Facilities

 

The Museum is designed so that everyone can enjoy it, with level and ramped access throughout.

 

Car Parking

 

Limited free car parking is available on-street outside the Museum except on special event days. Please refer to 'How to Find Us'.

 

Tea Room

 

Our Tea Room serves light refreshments throughout the day in a relaxed, traditional atmosphere and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a drink or snack as you ponder all the exhibits around you.

 

Shop

 

To complete your visit, the Museum Shop offers a wide range of gifts, souvenirs, bus magazines, bus and transport related jigsaws, discounted and second hand books and die cast models.

 

The shop is run directly by the Society and all profits go towards the operation of the Museum and the restoration of the vehicles.

 

Disabled Access

 

The Museum of Transport is completely under cover, with level and ramped access throughout. Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome in the Museum.

 

Toilets and Baby Changing

 

Toilet facilities, including disabled and baby changing facilities are available.

A public telephone is available within the Museum.
